A lesson on listening more closely to my children. Luke came downstairs, and I thought he told me he was "making the beds". I was quite surprised by that unusual streak of helpfulness. Later, when I went upstairs and saw all of the toys from the cupboard all over the floor, I realized he had been saying he was "making a mess".
